I have a been qualified solicitor since 1989. For many years I was employed as a senior legal advisor at a number of Magistrates Courts throughout the West Midlands, advising magistrates on law and court procedures. I was also part of a team that implemented training in specialist areas of criminal law and in new legal developments to Magistrates and other court staff.

I regularly attend Crown Court and Higher Appeal Courts and assist counsel with case preparation and management of cases. I also assist in cases in the Magistrates Court, especially those that get transferred to the Crown Court, thus ensuring a smooth transition, continuity of instructions and representation for the client.

Formerly a senior legal advisor in Magistrates’ Courts across the West Midlands, he provided legal guidance to magistrates and helped deliver specialist training in criminal law. Since 1991, he has specialized in criminal defense, founding his own firm in 1995. The practice handles serious and high-profile cases including murder, manslaughter, sexual offences, and complex fraud.
